This project started with dark cabinets, dark flooring, minimal lighting, and an enclosed interior room with no natural light—and no island. We removed the peninsula and created a full cooking wall, relocating the cooktop that was previously on the peninsula. A stunning 10-foot island became the new centerpiece, and we redesigned the wall angle where the oven meets the cooking area to a clean 90 degrees. Cabinetry was extended into the pantry, and we added beautiful double barn doors, seamlessly integrating the color and design throughout. We also refinished the floors, bringing the white oak back to its natural tone, creating a warm, cohesive flow with the kitchen’s new style.
